BB City launched into the market in 2014 having rebranded some old stores, namely the old P&O Shaya depot Makhado, the Shaya factory shop Makhado, the Madyisa maize meal depot Giyani and the Shaya factory shop Giyani. The group continues to grow opening new stores across the country, focusing mainly in Mpumalanga and Limpopo of South Africa.
